Auto App Opening

• Turn off DVDs opening DVD app: System Preferences > CDs & DVDs

Keyboard

• System Settings > Keyboard
  • Keyboard navigation: on
  • Text Input > Input Sources > Edit
    • Show inline predictive text: off
    • Add period with double-space: off
• Full keyboard access (accessibility setting): System Settings > Accessibility > Keyboard > Full keyboard access

Disabling Delay Saving Screenshot

• Press Command + Shift + 5 to open the screenshot interface.
• Click the Options drop down.
• Uncheck the Show Floating Thumbnail option

Disabling Phone Calls on Computers

• Open FaceTime on Mac
• Go to Settings
• Uncheck Calls from iPhone

Disable Note Corner

• System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Mission Control > Hot Corners > turn off

Finder Sidebar

• Finder > Preferences > Sidebar

System Settings > Desktop & Dock > Windows - Turn off “Tiled windows have margins”

• Tile left or right
  • Fn-Ctrl-arrow (left or right) - exactly half
  • Drag windows to left or right edge of screen - half or fill the space to left/right or previous window
• Full screen
  • Fn-Ctrl-F
  • Drag window to menu bar
